Brian Sage has been a professional artist, designer and woodworker since 2004 and has a masters degree in visual art from Lesley University. He is also an avid outdoorsman and a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).

Traditional oil painting has been the main focus of his art practice. His style continues to be influenced by the French Impressionists and by his friend and mentor John Terelak. He is constantly mining his life experiences and the wild landscapes he travels to inform and inspire his artwork.
